  • New tool: Duplicate Cleaner, to find the files you have twice and clean them up. Pick a folder to keep and a folder to clean, and Syphon lists the files in the folder to clean that the folder to keep already has
  • The folder to keep is never changed. Choose how to compare: exact copies in the same place (the safest, and the default), exact copies anywhere, or two careful ways by name. Untick any file you want to keep
  • Clean up moves the copies to the Recycle Bin, and Undo brings them back. Deleting for good only happens when you tick it and say yes once more
  • Syphon never cleans Windows’ own folders, a whole drive or its own folders, leaves links and files that are only in the cloud alone, and keeps .spr and .act partner files together. New to it? How it works shows it in three steps
  • The tool menu has a third page for the new tool: scroll, press Page Down or click Page 3
  • New Syphon accounts confirm their email: the login window says where we sent the link, Send it again sends a new one, and once you have opened it Syphon signs you in when you come back to its window

  • If 120/240 fps can’t start (no hardware encoder, or an AVI or lossless format), the recording still starts at 60 fps and tells you why. Handy when you start it with a hotkey mid-game
